Polaroids

It has arrived! My Polaroid SX 70, yay! It's been reconditioned so it no longer wears its original 1970's outfit (pity) but it works an that's the main thing :) Here's a shot using the Polaroid Fade to Black Film. Below I have attached the same image taken with the Canon 5D Mark II. When you want the polaroid film to stop at the point you like, as in tonal range and colour, you cut it open to let it dry and hey presto, before it eventually 'fades to black' and is lost forever. There are other methods but I wont bore you. Im such a geek. There will be more...you have been warned :)

Weddings & polaroids
Have been so busy lately that have badly neglected my blog (my apologies), good complaint really. Well, the wedding season is well an truely upon us and here's an image from a recent wedding i shot in Cork. Lovely couple Janet & Kenneth.
Ive been neglected personal projects for some time now and I'm really feeling it lately. Have been toying with the idea of buying a polaroid camera for, well about a year now, but have recently turned from toying to obsessing! Have my eye on a reconditioned SX-70 and just love the idea of this amazing film, check it out!
